Job Description

We're looking for an  On-Call CNA/HHA to cover the 73401, 73456 and 73030 areas.
The position would have the following requirements and compensation:

• Candidate must be a CNA or HHA .
• Must have experience with patient lifts and transfers .
• Must be available to remain on standby for the assigned weekend.
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes of being paged out .
• The on-call stipend would be $100 for the weekend for remaining available and on standby.
• If the employee is called out, they will also receive their regular hourly wage for the time worked .

This position would help ensure we have reliable coverage available when needed, particularly for clients requiring assistance with lifts and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and basic household tasks.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
• Provide medication reminders as directed by the client or family.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, shopping, and social activities.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or behavior
• Maintain accurate and timely care documentation.

Additional Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, senior care, or related experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors.
• Reliable transportation to shifts.
• Must pass required background checks and meet applicable state requirements.
