Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to support benefits, HRIS, onboarding, payroll, workers’ compensation, and other HR functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HRIS data and prepare reports; Paycom experience a plus
• Process new hire paperwork, orientation, onboarding, and offboarding
• Assist with recruiting and background checks
• Coordinate benefits and 401(k) administration
• Assist with workers’ compensation and leaves of absence
• Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing
• Support HR compliance and employee records
• Research HR-related questions and prepare ad-hoc reports
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HR experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills; 35+ WPM
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and research skills
• Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities
• Must be dependable and able to maintain confidentiality
