About Air Reading
Across the U.S., literacy rates are falling — with roughly one in three children reading below grade level. At Air Reading, our mission is to change that by making proven, high-quality reading instruction available to every student who needs it most. We collaborate with elementary schools nationwide to deliver small-group virtual lessons that help children build stronger reading skills and confidence.
Our approach is grounded in evidence. Independent research by Johns Hopkins University through a randomized controlled trial confirmed that students in Air Reading showed substantial gains on reading assessments compared to their peers. In addition, Air Reading has earned the ESSA Tier 1 (Strong Evidence) designation and is featured by Proven Tutoring, a national registry of programs with the most rigorous research validation. When you join our team, you’ll be part of a movement that is both nationally recognized and research-backed.
