Position Overview
Axian Technology is seeking an experienced
CNC Lathe Setup Operator
to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position within our Doosan lathe machining department, responsible for machine setup, production runs, and ensuring parts meet strict aerospace quality standards.
We are looking for a dependable, skilled machinist who takes pride in precision work and can work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate modern CNC Doosan lathes for production runs.
Read and interpret customer blueprints and technical drawings.
Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
Make necessary offsets and adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Work with the Production Manager and team to meet production and quality goals.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience setting up CNC lathes;
Doosan machining experience preferred.
Prior experience in an aerospace machine shop environment.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
Proficiency using inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, drop indicators, comparators, and similar equipment.
Ability to hold tight tolerances and maintain consistent quality.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work.

Pay: Up to $35 per hour , depending on experience.

Work Schedule Options
1st Shift
Monday–Friday:
5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
4-Day Workweek
Monday–Thursday:
5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Weekend Shift
Friday, Saturday & Sunday:
12-hour shifts
